It has been a very challenging time for me these last two months. At work I am on a system roll-out project that has 4 phases. The first phase had me working late nights and weekends. This is something I normally don’t do because of the negative impact to my family. But my family was supportive. The second phase is almost done now, but I came down with bronchitis, just in time to provide training during our user acceptance testing. I was worried my health would not last until go live training the following week. The Holy Spirit prompted me to produce video training of two segments of training. It proved to be a good idea, as I lost my voice shortly after completed it. But God is so good. He gave me the strength and a voice to complete every task needed. Everyone could tell the strength wasn’t coming from me! So God gets the glory.
My young son, James, was sick during this time too. It is especially hard to go to work, when my child needed me. But his daddy took care of him.
You may know my husband is still looking for work. He had an interview, which went well, but it turns out to be too far away to take the position. He is still looking for work.
My oldest son’s car was broken into, which damaged the driver side door so he could get into the car from that side. That cost a lot to fix.
All the while I had been working on the Discover the Riches of His Grace – Learning to Do Relationships God’s Way bible study. I really wanted to get it done sooner, but it just wasn’t ready. It’s is now published, although, I haven’t had the time to promote it yet.
On top of all that I received notice that my web site host was being discontinued. I need to migrate to a new platform by March 31, 2012. This meant research new web host, find a new engine for web site, migrate email to new provider, transfer domain names, move content from old site to new site and on and on. This was a huge task for me. God is good. Little by little I investigated. My son, Scott, gave me some suggestions on web host, which turned out to be the best advice. God confirmed to me I didn’t need to transition all 85 pages of the old site. Just get back to the basics. Little by little I built a new system. I’m almost ready to transition to new site. I just have to install two more modules and test them out thoroughly.
God is trustworthy. He cares what we go through. He is there when we need Him. He provides everything we need. He did for me. He continues to be there for you. God is loving and caring.
May God show His trustworthiness to you in unexpected ways!
